TOPIC: Pierced Pipes

Here's a fun one. Time is a patient mistress and given enough time these anchors at the top of the support posts in the basement would wear a hole through the main 3/4" copper water line resting on them the first photo is the top of the post I found in the basement closet. The second is one which must have been noticed by a remodeler and was cut off after it had drilled a small divot in the pipe. 

I love finding things like this because I'm certain if I hadn't, Murphy's Law says the pipe would have began spraying water about a minute after my client closed on the home.(even though it's been sitting there for 40 years)
