Hello all!
I came across something today that I have not yet seen before...what appears to be a blown paper/cardboard type insulation on basement concrete outer walls. This stuff is stuck to the wall but can easily be removed by scraping and seems to be made of cardboard or paper product. I will have a pic for you soon... Anyone come across this? Any issues with it? Will mold get to it in a damp basement? Thanks in advance for your feedback!!! Mike I-Team Home Inspections www.iteamhomeinspections.com |

Mike if you mean the interior foundation walls I recommend not having any organic material in direct contact as it can lead to mold plus transfer the moisture to wall studs for instance.
