I just wanted to give a head's up with this news item that found its way to the news link on my website. You should probably read it too.
www.emediawire.com/releases/2009/9/prweb2838934.htm This is something that is likely to get worse. On the advice of my son, a lawyer for Microsoft, but lawyer nonetheless, I have added a clause to the agreement my clients sign, which I am having printed immediately for use. It advises my clients that I am not qualified to detect the presence or absence of Chinese drywall and that it is specifically EXCLUDED from the inspection and report. I know that FREA is recommending the same. This stuff is popping up in more and more locations. Until there is bona fide industry training we can tap into, I think we would be circumspect to head it off at the pass and avoid liability now. |

Yep....
I will look for it at the Service Panel, then the Refrig. Lines. on exterior, then attic and also look for a label in attic. On the "down low" of course. |
