I am going to be doing my first multi-unit (6 plex) inspection and am trying to figure out the best way to charge for it. Either total building square feet or a price for each unit?
Also wondering about the report itself, can you break down separate units in 1 report? Any input is greatly appreciated. |

For multiplex units, I charge by total square footage plus $95 per unit.
Combining reports all depends on how you have your own report set up. It is easy to copy and add pages for each section and just name them Unit A, B, OR 1, 2 or whatever. |

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut grass on a baseball infield, the click of a wooden bat and the taste of a hot dog at a warm sunny daytime double-header.

Thanks Stephen, that gives me a good idea of what to do.

I give a total fee based on a per/unit price. I combined the report...otherwise it will get to long. Plan on spending extra time creating a template for a multi-unit report.

Hi Brad,
What type of multi unit? Are you talking a 4 plex or a 300 unit apartment complex. There are big differences! |
