TOPIC: How do you do your summary with the client?

I sent him my current template including all comments to be cool but it is not up for public consumption
of all .
It is very closely based on my original posted template which is based on Illinois SOP.

I wanted Steve to see caption and note upgrades in use so that he could get the idea.

Steve like almost 50% of my clients (they email later unsolicited) likes my layout.
To describe in simple terms I make full use of color borders to segment my reports and make sections easy to navigate.

I do not have disclaimers all over the place and keep my report language simple because clients are not other inspectors.

Try to think like a client and not write the report to impress the genius codies is my style.

Will post up a fairly recent report if I can find one here that I used at a few talks for first time home buyers .

Cameron will be happy to trade template and report .

I misunderstood Bob. I thought you sent Steve a sample of the things we've been discussing. I wasn't requesting you post your template, that's private information in my book.

I've seen your report you have linked to on some of your websites. One note about those links; Several of them on your websites go to a page that's states it is not found.

There's probably a couple ways you could streamline your report and/or reporting, but I'm sure things look different now since that report was from 2008.

I'm going to work up some comparisons using identical information and comparing how much typing, how many mouse clicks, etc. goes into several different ways of organizing a template and report layout. Maybe I'll put it together in a template that inspectors can download. I should use the info Dave Macy posted.

Had a far away night inspection which is rare but the Agent said her clients love me and buttered me up for it.yikes.
