TOPIC: ON-SITE CHECKLISTS

Anyone have an on-site checklist that they want to share, that they use at each home inspection?  I'm currently creating one, but wondered if any more-experienced-than-me inspectors would be willing to share theirs so that I might find more good things to add/inspect.  I am trying to whittle mind down into a well-organized format in terms of order of completion, starting with the exterior.

You can use your normal template for much faster entry into the computer later. Just set it to print in continous mode to save paper and get it double sided and laminated.

Someone did post a separate field note template awhile back but I can't remember who it was. It would be in the template section.

My problem with using the normal template is it doesn't have some of the questions that I want on it.
i.e. Did you run 2 faucets at the same time?  Did you run a faucet and then flush the toilet?

I don't have a list I follow Robert.  I do have a pattern, starting outside, but I am just looking.  Any anomalies pop up and I make a note for reporting later.

Robert, you could take your template and add a few narratives to it and save it as an inspection file as well.
