TOPIC: Manufacturer's Defect

I told them the same thing when they first called - to learn the manufacturer of the product and call them for help.  I also recommended that they get a local, professional installation company to come over and evaluate the issue and give them a cost for repairs.  Then that they should take that to the builder, along with the neighbor's similar evaluation.  I suggested they go to the builder as a pair, but after getting as much info as they could.  I think the brother in law is the problem here, but that is just me...    (;>)

Thanks, by the way for speaking with my daughter.  I have not spoken with her, but my son in law says you were a great help.

Pleasure is mine, I have received plenty of help from others on this board. I will try to return it when I can.
Remember, a Building Contractor is ultimately responsible for the actions, and quality of work performed by his subs, son, brother-in-law or sister, whatever the case may be.
