Do any of you use face book for advertising? What does it involve? Is it similar to doing a blog just to get your name "out there?"
I don't know if I can spread myself thinner by getting involved in face book.
My daughter gets involved in face book; maybe I can get her to look after my face book advertising. Now there's a thought.

I use FaceBook to network with agents, and mortgage people. I use Facebook to make the contact and then hit them with a monthly newsletter. I also hit them with some sort of advertisement either by email or on FB every other week. The idea is to keep your name in front of them. I have 240 contacts that I work and it takes a lot of time.

It depends on the market. Some guys have been very successful marketing on facebook and active rain. It depends on how many agents in your area are on the system. If well populated areas I'd say go for it. It's not costing you anything.

I agree with will on spending money. Don't waste your money on anything except very well targeted Google Ads until your site hits page one.
