TOPIC: Your client notices

I posted this at NACHI, but thought I would post here also.

My inspection the other day went well, except the agent was at my heals and my clients, explaining that what I just pointed out was not a big issue.

The agent is a family friend of the client, and my client is a home builder.

Here is the email he sent me after he read the report. It illustrates that your client does notice when the agent is over stepping their bounds, and they do appreciate the service we provide, and the value of that service.

Michael,

I have reviewed the inspection report that you have sent me. I thank you for your thoroughness in your report and your ability to explain the steps of your inspection. As for my real estate agent, although she is a family friend, I do not share her same point of view on many topics. Please do not take anything she may have said or implied as being realistic...she is a little over zealous sometimes and for that I apologize. At the end of the day, I appreciate the work that you have done for me and I will be forwarding the report on to my attorney...thanks again for your help
