There have been a few random things that I've done that I thought might be helpful.
- I bought a rock climbing helmet and head lamp for going in crawl spaces and attics. I just know that one of these days something is going to spook me and I'm going to hit my head on something....we only have one melon. Plus you have a backup light if yours goes out. Actually the helmet has already come in handy when I don't duck as low as I think I should. I've scraped it a few times.
- I've been trying to figure out how to organize the names of the homeowners that I've done inspections for. I want to keep that list seperate from my realtor list. What I did is take the "pager" section in the address book and use that to insert my own code. For examples realtors are an "R" and homeowners are a "C" for client. Then when I do a mail merge I can sort the list by those catagories. I've actually done a few more catagories as well.
- If anyone is getting more domain names I recently used godaddy. When I went to check out I saw that there was a place to put in promo code. I searched for godaddy promo codes and came up with one that saved me $30...not bad for 5 min of work.
- Last thing- I have 20 new tyek suits with the hood and the elastic ankles and wrists. They are size large. I'm 6'1" and 180 and they are a bit small for me.
