lol, well thats part of it as well keep the taxman at bay.
I do alot of diagnostics and building investigation, more so then residential inspection, and this really is the way for me atleast to go. I know the p series is 8 times better then the 400 and 16 - 22 times better then a bcam, b50 , b60 or anything under the 180 x 180 mark. i guess im nervous as I will be basiclly the only one so far in this leauge then others I know that I will basiclly be leaving them behind and be at a level that I think I will be finding myself in a new playing field alone.. if that sounds right, I am aquiring a door as well, couldnt refuse the price so I am gonna have to figure out how to incorporate this into the mix along the way but thanks David, i see your already at my spot and im looking to see that I know a few folks where I think i am gonnna end up. lol |

I did a complete switch and traded for the T400 instead, after careful considerstion, this will do for the next year and I can upgrad then, and put the cash to marketing and advertising more in some of the bigger markets, I think this will make more sence and get me where i want to be next year and be forced to purchase the better camera then.

Probably a very wise decision!
That is the position I find myself in also. The way things are going, I think most of the world is in a "wait and see" mode. Besides, the cost of those high-end cameras have come down considerably since I started this and will likely improve with time. |

Agreed David, wait and see.
But after a bunch of emails and chatting with a few fellow thermographers I decided it would prove fruitful to wait out the year and have my marketing done in a stronger market. A couple hour drive but the population is over a million people and I think breaking into there would be a better fit for the commercial end and the IR/IAQ end of things as well. thanks for your information and help All the best to you in the new year |

My market area is 45 miles away (1.5 hour drive).
That's where the market is and better informed/educated clients. It's worth the drive for the inspection price differential. |
