TOPIC: Moving. What to do with existing business/clients?

Moving. What to do with existing business/clients? 15 years 2 months ago #21500

Me and my family are getting ready to move out of state (I will start my inspection business there). However, I wanted some input on what to do with my existing flow of customers.

Should I drop them completely, and stop marketing and answering the local phone? Play middle man and farm these out to other inspector(s) in the area for a fee? Other ideas?

Any input?

Thanks

You can sell your business and websites to another inspector. You would negotiate and set terms. So they would be getting all your clients if that is part of the terms. You would then have to send letters to agents and clients about the sale of your business. Contact your lawyer once you find an interested inspector. Oh and my best advice, do not move to my area!!  ;D
