Will, are you coming now that ASHI is giving 23 CE's for the event and will be there too, or you going in January?

Hey Guys,

Thanks to all of you who came to the conference. We have a LOT of Home Inspector Pro website and software users at the conference and I've been told by many that we had the busiest booth there.

The 9am-2pm talk on website optimization on Sunday turned into a 9am to 5pm talk with a pizza break in the middle. It was a lot of fun taking 40 guys on a field trip through the casino to find the food court and take over the place I didn't think you guys would be able to handle more than 2-3 hours of me but then you pushed me to 8! I had a great time and hoped you learned a lot.

After the 1 hour SEO talk on Tuesday our booth was absolutely swamped by guys asking questions about the software & website hosting. I'd like to thank Bob Hintze, Mark Wahl and Kenneth Loper for helping answer other people's questions as I was talking to other inspectors.

Bob Hintze also won the free year of website hosting at the conference. Of course this was after he'd already decided he needed another site. What luck!!

The highlight of the event was race night. Around 100 inspectors were bussed to a go kart track with two tracks. The first was for time trials, I think I came in around 6th. The second was for racing other inspectors. Everyone kept pointing at me and saying they were going to get me so I just kept racing around as fast as I could Despite the 'track supervisors' blowing their whistles every time someone bumped cars, the entire time was spent crashing into each other, squeezing between the rail and other cars, causing cars to be t-boned. There were many multiple car pile-ups. I've never seen so many grown men having so much fun though. My apologies to Bob Hintze who I rammed pretty hard on the last race after he crashed into the car in front of him (I got tapped by the car behind me as I tried to swerve around Bobby). He started talking about all the pretty colors and birds he was seeing after the race.

All in all, a great conference. I met a LOT of other great inspectors and educators from several schools came to talk to us about distributing HIP demo's to their users. The best part was to finally meet so many of you in person and put faces to the names. I'm looking forward to next year!

It was a fabulous convention and working with Dominic for as long as we did on sunday and all the other people who were part of the conference made the week very enjoyable.  We were able to learn so much from Dominic that we didn't know before.

Besides the classes, putting Dominic into the wall on a go cart track was a dream of many and we couldn't do it.  he is the little nat in a car that we thought he would be. 

Thank you again Dominic and look foward to a continue close relationship.  Say hi to charlie.....

Yeah but we put a few others into the wall, and that was a lot of fun Go team HIPPIE, lol.

We'll definitely have to have a class like that each year. I'll have to think of how to change it up some. Go over new tips and maybe work in some computer hardware/software lessons as well.

You are truly a gifted computer person and we all are very lucky to be working with you.  A class like that would be welcome any time.  Webcasts would be great too......
