Saw that last year when at the ITA convention.  Amazing that they even started it. 

I saw an article early this month which stated 67% of all homeowners in Las Vegas were "Under Water" on their mortgages.  The commercial side is even worse. 

I have a very close friend who has been out of work in vegas for about one year as has his wife who now has additional medical problems.  can not even imagine how bad it must be out there.  Hopefully when we are there, we will take some more money from the hotel.....

We'll be staying at timeshare property (Polo Towers) for 5 of the 7 days and got cheap airline tickets so staying for a week is not much more expensive than a few days.

Have you been to Vegas lately?  Wait till you see what's sitting unfinished next to the Polo Club/Towers...
The worlds largest hotel, convention, retail, restaurant development went bust earlier this year.  It's an impressive financial disaster in and of its self.  

Yeah - we were just there in July.  The City Centre project is across Las Vegas Blvd. from Polo Towers.  The Jockey Club (another timeshare), on the other hand, is being literally 'swallowed up' by the construction because the owners refused to sell when the property was being acquired.  IMHO, Polo Towers and the Marriott Grand Chateau are some of the best locations in LV - easily accessible by car without getting tied up in too much traffic and an easy walk to favorite casinos on the strip.
