TOPIC: Conference in VEGAS September 20-23

Yes it's in January. I'll be there too as a vendor, but they decided not to have a speaker on website optimization this year so I won't be talking. Guess they had one last year and they want to alternate.

All of the printed marketing and informational materials I've received from ASHI have been first class, similar to ICC.  I hope there conference is of equal quality.  I too will be attending.  You gotta love Vegas!  Maybe we can buy a foreclosure while we there.  Some of the REO product over there isn't much more than the cost of a hotel room:)

BTW;  I did a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom 800'sf condo in Lake Forest a few days ago.  Short sale for 80K, the owner bought it in 2007 for $267K.  She'll be staying in the property as a tenant for my investor client.  Sad!

I've seen 3 bedroom, 1600 sqft short sales going for $60k in Fontana. I'm sure not as nice an area as Lake Forest obviously. Sad that she lost the place.

So you going to come in September as well? What does it hurt to go to Vegas twice in 6 months?

The event has nothing to do with NACHI. It's being put on by the guys who sold ITA 6 years ago to Kaplan who are actually past CREIA presidents. They are now out of their non-compete contract and starting up their conferences again. Since ITA is no longer having conferences they are filling that spot. It's one of the only non association run conferences you'll go to.  But there are a lot of associations attending.

Mike C said NACHI is close to approving for 15 CEU's ;D and ASHI should be the same. Once ASHI confirms I'll register.
