I realize this may be a no-brainer but here's the situation...........

A house I inspected in South Orange County has a pair of double doors that go all the way to the floor, just like an entry way into a master bedroom or similar entryway. The hall carpeting extends into the closet and around the FAU that is mounted on the floor. Is this prohibited?

Richard Overton Visitor	Info on the inside of the furnace door should have clearance from combustible materials. I believe most vertical furnaces have zero clearance on the base. Check this box to be notified of replies to this topic. Note: BBcode and smileys are still usable.
