TOPIC: iPhone 12 Pro photo upload

iPhone 12 Pro photo upload 3 years 1 week ago #66862

I recently started usinng my iPhone 12 Pro to take my inspection photos because I find that it takes better photos than the Canon Powershot I have beren using for years. I usually take 250+ photos per inspection, about 40 or so make it into the inspection. The photos first go to the iCloud and then into my MacBook Air Photos program. Most of the time this photo process takes 2+ hours to get to my Mac where I put them into a desktop folder from which I then import them into HIP for use. This photo upload/download process takes too long and it slows me down too much when I get to my office and wabt to begin doing ther HIP report. Is there a better way to do this?

Problem 2. - When it's hot outside, the flash on my iPhone overheats and takes 10 to 15 minutes to cool down and be ready to use again. This happens even even more if I set my phone down in the sun, like when I'm on a roof evaluating an issue. Has anybody else had this flash overheating issue?

Why aren't you taking them directly in HIP Mobile, that's what is designed for! It'll take you 2 minutes to upload to the HIP Cloud and download onto HIP. Then the photos will already be slotted as well into the correct sections.
