TOPIC: Best Windows based tablet??

I recently started using the mobile version of HIP. So far so good but I found that my Galaxy Note 5 is a bit to small for my liking. I am looking for a Windows based tablet I can purchase. If any of you guys use a Windows tablet, can you guys guide me in the right direction as to which one to purchase? Also it is my understanding that with a Windows tablet you don't have to use the cloud service? Dom, can you explain this to me please or anyone with info on this? Thanks in advance.

That's correct, the cloud isn't required if you're using a full Windows tablet. It's optional if you wanted to use our upload service for report storage but you could just email the PDF as well. The main reason for the cloud is transferring data to/from mobile and desktop via Amazons cloud.

Is there a Windows tablet you would recommend? and with a Windows tablet can I still send info to my desktop? So I'm pretty much asking, if I need to edit a report after my inspection is it still an option to send it to my desktop?

Yes you can definitely transfer to your desktop after. The Surface Pro's are great.

What do you mean by a "full" Windows tablet?

Hi David,

He means that the tablet runs the full Windows Desktop Operating System. All the surface tablets have a full installation of Windows 10 on them.
