TOPIC: app for transferring live images

I have been using an android app called "play memorie" on my handheld mobile phone to control another samsung mobile phone which is fitted on an extended pole to take photos of hard to access areas. I find this app "play memorie" breaks down too often. Anyone else using a different android app that is easy to use and stable.

I have both Olympus TG860 camera that I use for inspections. It's one of the water and dustproof Tough Series with a fixed & covered lens, only has a 5X zoom though. I often use this on a 18 or 28 foot extension pole for steep or wet roofs. I use the Olympus OI Share app with this setup and it works great.
I also have a Samsung WB350f camera that I use when I need a longer zoom (12X) to get close ups of chimneys and such. The Samsung is not water proof and has a lens that extends so dirt/dust are an issue. With the Samsung I use the Samsung Smart Camera app and this was pretty much trouble free also. Both apps are a little on the slow side when zooming or releasing the shutter, just have to learn to work with it and show some patience.
Normally I use my Samsung Galaxy S5 Active phone to control the cameras, but I also have the IPad apps on the Ipad that I am still trying to get accustomed to using to perform inspections.
