TOPIC: Desktop vs Laptop vs Tablet

Currently use desktop to write reports. Take pics and provide great customer service at inspection and write reports at home. 2 inspections a day max. Feel having face in tablet takes away from customer experience and I do not use check boxes, I write statements.

I have a laptop that I use between inspections to start reports and then either finish on lap top or send HZF file and finish on desktop.

Feel a tablet (with keyboard) will make life easier but can you talk to text in the software for the phone / tablet? Would be a nice upgrade if it is not there yet.

over 900 inspections and trying to streamline without reducing the product I provide. Any thoughts would be appreciated... helpful thoughts.

We've been using tablets and phones with HIP Mobile. For us it hasn't changed our interaction with the client at all. And the speech to text is very helpful. Your recording your thoughts and critiques when you have them without the later bother of trying to remember. We always finish on a desk top using the mobile sync. It has cut hundreds of hours of report writing.
