Quick questions...when you merge two templates, which one is saved when saving the template when finished?
Background info....I am working with an assistant. Right now I start a report, load the pictures and email it over to her. Becuase I save my template every day, and I create the report file, she is working with the most up to date template. She works through the pictures with voice notes, it works well. But I would like to change it where she can start the report while I am at the inspection and select narratives while I dictate on the phone. The issue is she would have a slightly older template. I could create a report file and email it to her in the morning before heading out so she has the most up to date template available but I would like to be able to skip this step if possible. I can start one later and then we merge the one she created in that would be easier for me. I just want to make sure my most up to date template is the one saved going forward. Is there a sequence that ensures one template is maintained when saved? |

Eugene, when you merge you're creating a new template that's the combination of the two. When you merge it'll bring narratives together. If anyone has any new sections or items they'll be added too. In other words if one is a little newer than the other it won't make a difference as long as there's not new sections/items. When you click Save Template you'll select where you want to save that template to/over.
