I'm having a problem with photos showing up in strange places (in the report)
Roof shows up as the Dining Room, etc. They are labeled correctly in the correct category. What's the fix? I ended up putting them all at the end of the report but I prefer to insert them with the narrative. |

Hey Charles, give us a call. More than likely you have a few items with the exact same name in the same section.

If I am reading this correctly you must have come from HG which uses the odd numbering system I do not care for and is more confusing for the client than using a location caption however it should be easy to do.
Simply pre slot drops with numbers instead of comments. You can have the corresponding numbers at the start of tie in text comments. |

No Bob, I didn't come from HG. Just think that this would be easier for all involved. How is it confusing to basically say "This photo goes with this comment"? I did go ahead and make captions with numbers. However, I don't know what section will be which number. For instance I have Electrical - this will be Section 1. Each comment in the electrical section is now 1.1, 1.2, 1.2, etc. Then I have Pool - This will be Section 2. Comments are 2.1, 2.2, 2.3. Then I have Plumbing - This will be Section 3. Same for comments in this section. But if I do a house without a pool, then that makes Plumbing Section 2 now, and each comment in that section 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, instead of 3.1, 3.2, 3.3. So you can leave section numbers off, but then comments read as .1, .2, .3. Why not just 1, 2, 3? So what I did was make captions of "Item number 1, Item number 2, Items number 3, etc." But it doesn't look as uniform as if it could be "Item number 1.1, Item number 1.2, etc." Also, it gets a tad confusing with what photo goes with what comment.
So I think maybe a setting could be added that will let you associate a photo with a comment. Not sure how that would work, but it would be nice if it automatically generated the caption of "Item number 2.1" or whatever. |

If the photos are already in the item within a section and has a caption, isn't it obvious which comment the pic goes with? There's no way to automatically do this since you're adding the photo to the item, not to a specific comment. Are you giving your photos captions now?
