TOPIC: Why is there not a File>New Inspection option?

Why is there not a File>New Inspection option? 9 years 4 weeks ago #62119

I keep looking but when I am working on adding a new inspection with the software open I have to save the inspection I am in, and Exit the software to enter new client information?? To me that seems pretty basic.  ???

Have HIP open twice.

You can click Open Template to start a new inspection with whatever template you choose.

We actually recommend you to exit HIP every time you start a new inspection though. We preload tons of information to speed up navigation in use and because you could be using it for quite awhile it can use up memory on systems that don't have much. By exiting and starting HIP up it frees up system memory and allows HIP to run as fast as possible.
