Woah. 1GB, that would definitely be the issue. A typical new machine will have 8 or 16gb of ram. Might be time to upgrade. HIP 4 does use more memory but that was required to start processing video and other new features as well as speed increases for newer machines.

My current personal computer has 4gb. If I dedicate this one as my inspection only i may be able to get by for another year or so don't you think?

Alright, I decided to buy a new machine with 8gb of RAM to dedicate to just home inspecting. Question. How much success have you had running HIP on windows 10? I like 7 but I am looking forward. Thanks again.

No issues have been reported with Windows 10 other than some guys needing to make some resolution changes which we have tutorials on. Otherwise it's been pretty solid.
