OK, so Im trying to get HIP mobile to my exact liking and after my first test report it appears as though the picture quality is pretty bad....
On HIP desktop I have set to "2 across", and the "photo quality" to 2 (out of 3) (not sure if even relevant for mobile) On HIP Mobile, I have selected the "default picture quality" to 5, the HIGHEST Reviewing my Tablet settings I see that the picture quality is at 3.2MP, which should be more than enough.... Now take a look at these few pics (and illustrations).... Looks crappy to me! The arrows are almost worst with the jagged edges... What can I do? And another thing, notice how the illustrated text goes out furthur than the background (highlight)... Whats up with that? How do I fix? |

Hi Tyler,
Narrow the thickness of the arrows under the Settings option on mobile. That's normally the biggest issue with resolution. You should also be using captions for that text rather than writing over the image it'll look much better. I haven't seen text overlapping the background before though I'll need to check that out. What tablet are you using? |

Im using Samsung galaxy Tab 3....
How much compression is going on between when my camera snaps a pic @ 3.1MP, and when it ends up in the report? It seems the resulting file size is significantly smaller, one example is down to 13.3KB. Does the desktop picture quality have any effect when building the report in mobile? My font size is in "px" and my max, on mobile, is only 25....Why? Its not quite big enough... When I use the desktop version I believe the unit is "pt", and goes all the way up to 72! Is there some sort of font size restriction on an android? |

The desktop quality doesn't affect mobile.
The photos are compressed and resized but that's not your issue. Your photo quality looks totally fine, it's the arrows that are a bit pixelated. Try upping your resolution to 5MP and reduce the arrow width as I mentioend to see if the photos come through clearer |
