This question is regarding when I edit narratives and the box that opens up when editing said narrative. I am planning some heavy editing this winter when things finally slow down and I am trying to streamline the process as much as possible.
I figured out that I could bind the "escape" key to my mouse and that works for "cancel" when I open a box, like what I see and don't need to edit any of that narrative. My problem is that I want to bind something to my mouse that will click the OK button when editing a box so I don't have to move my mouse and click "OK" each time I am done editing a narrative. Is there any way to edit the PC version of the HIP software in a future release so that something like the "Pause/break" key will be recognized as "OK". Then I could bind "Pause/break" to my mouse and click my mouse after editing a narrative to save it in the template. Already tried: Tab doesnt work Alt-O doesnt work Alt-Tab doesnt work |

Hi David,
Can you bind a sequence of keys to the mouse button? |

Yes, the mouse I am using is a Razer Taipan and the software to run it has the option to record multiple key strokes. Why do you ask?

Because clicking tab a few times should move to the Ok button and then the enter key would trigger OK. Try it out and see if you can get it working.

Dom, No amount of "tabs" will get me to the "OK" button. Ive been told by a nerd friend that AutoIt software will do what I want but I was hoping to find a solution other than running more software in the background. |
