I take about 200 pics but I only use about 40 or 50 in a report. I separate and flip/rotate the pic I'm going to use in a separate folder and batch add. Before 4.4.1 worked great now when importing them into hip orientation is gone and I have to flip them all over again.

HIP 4.4.1 automatically rotates the photos now based on the EXIF data. Stop filling in advance. You're probably flipping them but the program you're using isn't saving the orientation so HIP is flipping them again.

I am having the same issue and I am not clear on Dom's answer. How do I stop automatic orientation of my pictures?

Terry was rotating the images in another software which wasn't marking the rotation flag internal to the file. The solution was to let HIP automatically rotate the images.
Are you using another program to rotate/edit images other than HIP? |
