I've been using HIP Mobile since last summer. No problems with my Samsung S4 phone. Today I decided to use my Tablet, thinking would be easier since the screen was bigger. Almost after every single, I got the notification "HIP has stopped working". I had to keep going back into the inspection and opening the one I was working on. All updates appear to have been made. Anybody else have this issue?
I also noticed the pics on the Tab4 were larger, so I tried to edit them in the field. I'd make an arrow or circle, but when I clicked save it didn't save, it just sat there, so I had to move on without editing the pic. I tried several times, but was never able to save an edit. I would have been great had it worked, but it took 3 1/2 hours to inspect a house that would probably have taken a little over 2 hours if I had stuck with my phone instead. :'( |

Not sure if you contacted support about this and got it resolved already or not. It definitely sounds like you have something on the tablet conflicting. I'd try factory resetting the Tab4 and only installing HIP. Then turn down the photo quality under the settings option on the camera app itself, and in HIP. Then see how things go. |
