TOPIC: Not sure how to word this question about HIP and mobile [tabs & sections]

Not sure how to word this question about HIP and mobile [tabs & sections] 9 years 5 months ago #61300

Is there a way to check off the water pressure in my exterior plumbing tab which is in the exterior section but have it show up in my water pressure tab in the water supply section? When inspecting the exterior and im in the exterior section I have a tab for exterior plumbing but I would rather the water pressure show up in the water supply section without having to back out of the exterior section and go to the water supply section. For other inspectors, if this isnt possible, do you check off the water pressure in the exterior section and leave it there in the report or do you back out, go to water supply and check the water pressure and then go back to the exterior section in the middle of your inspection?

I've seen it in both locations and in a generic plumbing section. It's not possible at this time to comment on an item in one area and have it appear in another.

Thanks dom, would like to hear from other inspectors if they leave it in the exterior or go to the water supply section to input it there.

I Have just one plumbing section for everything with a tab for water pressure. I include a photo of the pressure gauge. People pretty much know where the reading was taken by looking at the photo.

I have a separate water pressure tab in my plumbing section.  I would normally say, plumbing is plumbing is plumbing, but with the unique features in areas like bathrooms and kitchens, those are separated out from the normal plumbing section.  Unlike electrical, where everything is in the electrical section regardless of where it is located.
