TOPIC: import inspection possible bug

not sure if this came up yet , but I had to import an inspection a second time when my inspector updated his report ,the pictures and texted cam over again and duplicated ,, can we have it so only new items merge and same ones cancel out?

That's not a bug. If you imported the same report a second time there's no way for HIP to look at an image an know that the image already exists. It would literally need to some how visually compare all the images which just isn't possible. The same goes for text, HIP purposely adds all comments on the right side of the red/black section.

This might be more of a work flow issue. Why did you end up importing a report a second time?

My inspector forgot a couple of item's, so i imported report a second time . Now that i know what can happen i can work around  it.

Another option would be to send him the updated file so he could make the changes directly.
