TOPIC: Android or IOS?

Android or IOS? 9 years 7 months ago #60877

I am trying to make using HIP Mobile easier. I have tried to use it on my iPhone 5 but its is just too small. I currently use an iPad mini but would love to use a phone again. I was looking for input on different phones. I am an iPhone user but I have seen what the HIP mobile on android looks like and I might consider switching. So my question is do you guys have any suggestions with an android based phone? I was thinking of the Note 4 maybe. I am also looking to see what the differences are between android and IOS versions of HIP mobile? Has anyone switched from one to the other and if so what would you recommend now that you have used both? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The software programs are basically identical between iPhone/iPad and Android. What did you see on Android that would make you want to switch?

Manny - I recently picked up a Note 4 and find it very easy to use with HIP Mobile. Aside from the larger screen and the ability to use a large SD card, it comes with a 'fast charger'. This is helpful for a quick 30-40% boost in battery between inspections. Camera is great, especially with HDR on all the time. Lots of good devices out there. Good luck.

Dom,
Maybe I am not doing something right but my biggest issue is when using HIP mobile on a phone or ipad I would like to have all my sections condensed by category. As an example have one folder or category for roofs then when you open that all my sections regarding roofing are in that one place. As set up now to go from one selection to another I have to scroll around a giant list to much which takes time. I thought I saw a screen shot that showed android has what I am looking for? If this doesnt make sense I can send a pic of what my mobile looks like.

Your templates are setup wrong. Give the office a call in the next day or two so we can help you out.
