Very interesting. HIP just requests the photos from the system and it serves them up. It's odd that the Macbook Pro works fine but your desktop is a different order. Are there any differences in the exact Yosemite version within it?

Not that i have seen Dom but i am apple dumb still . They are both Yosemite 10.10.2 the only other difference is the macbook is older than the imac

Noticed last week the format on our mobile phones changed considerablely.  We did loose some data in our 1st inspection merge but redid everything and it worked ok the second time.  Is there update I auto recieved and may need to update my desktop version??

I just bought a used laptop with Windows 7. I loaded some pics into HIP last night and they all were imported at the end and in order. And they didn't have the "use as caption" button checked. That happens to me on my iMac. I'm going to start doing all my reports on the PC Laptop.

Gary, most mobile devices are set to auto update but that's something you would set on your side. It's been a few months since we had a major update on mobile's look but there's been several smaller updates recently.
