TOPIC: Question for Dom or Mac guru's

Ok so i am using a IMac now after years on a pc. When batch adding on windows the pictures load in order but when batch adding on the mac they are added mixed up and not in file name order. Is there a way to batch at in order on the mac

HIP imports them in the same order that the system gives it to them on. Is it every 10th picture or so that's wrong? I've seen in the past where some systems alphabetize numbers in a way that 1,10,11... can come before 2 because they start with a 1. Compare the images to the way the Mac displayed them in the folder outside HIP when you have them in alpha order to see if this is the case.

In my folder the files are named starting with sam_3015. and are in order.    the first 4 that come up in HIP is sam_3102  - sam_3104  then jumps to 3106 to sam_3136 then to the beginning 3015 to 3106

I'm using an iMac also. I slot most of my photos on HIP mobile. My iPad doesn't have flash so there are some photos I have to add manually on desktop at home. And when batch adding photos they are added in no particular order. Some get put at the beginning.. some are the end. They are even put into different sections automatically. I have to go through all the tabs and fix them.
