TOPIC: Can you edit templates on the fly with HIP mobile?

Good, that is step one to creating a full boilerplate inserted  inspection where I can make just the changes I need to. Lots of houses that are damn near identical in this cookie cutter world. Thank you.

I trying to figure out how to edit the comments that are already loaded up into the mobile template. For example I have a time I start and a time I finish so I have "Inspection started at **" and I would like to remove the ** and insert a time but I can't figure out how to do it.  I know how to add a new commend and if I hold on the existing comment it will bring up a text box but doesn't have an option to save just to delete, cancel, or copy.
I thought I would post here because this was a close topic to mine and I didn't want to start a whole new thread.

you can edit comments on the fly by selecting the pencil icon next to the comment, also is you hold down and prees on comment you will have a copy feature pop up

Thank you so much.  Will that save the comment on the template on the phone or do you have to load the template on the computer and then back load it back to the phone.  I am just asking because I don't want the edited comment to stay on the template just the current report. Thanks

when your report is open on desktop just save it as template and then load it back on phgone
