TOPIC: HIP Laptops

HIP Laptops 9 years 8 months ago #60554

I have a 2 part question...

1st...I'm looking at new laptops in the 13-14" range. If I stick with Windows Dominic...Do you have any insight if VER 10 will handle high DPI any better?

2nd...If I transition to Mac, I'm still using 3.9. ? Will I need to upgrade to 4.0 to get software or can I stick with 3.9?

I plan on downloading Windows 10 this week and testing it out, I'll let you know. I've already started planning making HIP scale it's DPI better but unfortunately it's a massive rewrite.

Mac Yosemite requires HIP 4. Yosemite completely broke HIP 3 and required several months of updates to get HIP to work with it.
