I got back from doing a roof inspection on a commercial building yesterday that is 75 miles away. I had probably 30 pictures in the inspection. I put my ladder back and got in the truck and looked at a few of the photos. They were all there and everything looked good so I put the iPad down and finished my day out. Last night I opened up the inspection to upload to the cloud and the only photo that is there is the one on the cover page that I took from the client info page. ???
So, does anybody have any magic that can get my pictures to come back? I'm not that keen on driving another 150 miles and climbing back up on a 22 foot tall roof to redo the whole inspection. I am starting to have that sinking feeling that I am going to do be redoing my inspection tomorrow. > -Justin Rude |

Or how about this question as well?
is the problem that I did not exit out of the roof section of the inspection so the photos disappeared because it wasn't saved right away? |

Hi Justin,
Don't forget, the message boards are the last place to ask an urgent question. I only check here once or twice a day. The ticket system or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. get looked at all day. The photos do save to the inspection file when you exit the roof section by default. You can also set it under Settings to save under each item. It's possible you shut the device down before triggering that save. The pics will should still be on the device though. Download www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/ which you can use to browse the iPad. The photos should be in the com.homeinspectorpro.mobile/inspections folder. If not, give us a call first thing in the morning and we can help you out. |
