TOPIC: 4.0 crashes every time I try to edit an inspection done in version 3

While in 4.0 I open and edit an inspection done in version 3 and it crashes every time I try to save it.  It even crashes if I open it and do nothing and try to save it. Seems they should be compatible, hmmmmmm
Using 5 yr old macbook pro running Yosemite.

HIP doesn't know if a file is HIP 3 or 4 so that's not the issue. Can you please go to the About->About menu and let me know what version of HIP it says you have installed?

Hmm does this happen on a particular inspection or on any old inspection?

Please make sure you have the latest version of Yosemite as well. A few guys had crashes from the first update and Apple has been fixing their bugs with each update which has greatly reduced other issues.

Yosemite is up to date.  2 different inspections multiple times.  I'll try another one.  One inspection was done about 6 weeks ago and the other about 6 months ago. I'll try one more.

Okay, try it on new inspections too. There should be absolutely no difference in the files but something else might be triggering it. Once you can replicate the issue, send me the file and the exact steps so I can track the logs and resolve it.
