TOPIC: Cloud question

Is there a reason we cant upload reports from HIP on PC to the cloud for safekeeping? If I finish up an inspection on my PC I have no backup for it which kind of defeats the purpose of having a cloud based service that I pay 20$ a month for. The only thing that the cloud allows me personally to do is send the partially finished report from my phone to my PC for 20$ a month.

The cloud DOES allow you to upload your finished PDF's from the desktop. Click on Upload Report and then Upload to HIP. Just uncheck the Client/Agent box if you don't want it going to them and only you'll have access.

I already have a copy of the PDF when I email it to the client so I am not as worried about that for safekeeping. How hard would it be to allow upload of .HZF files to the cloud from my PC? This would serve to help me twice. One, it would work as a backup of the raw report and two, I could start a report on the PC, send it to my phone and then back to the PC when I get home to do the final editing.

That's something we've discussed doing but would need to increase the cloud fee to cover all the extra data storage and costs with Amazon as we keep the files for 5 years. It's possible we could create an advance cloud option guys can choose. I highly suggest using something like Carbonite on your computer for now and specifically tell it to back up HIP and all files.
