I've been having an issue for about a week now where when I go to take a photo on my iPad, the camera comes up rotated the wrong way. I've updated to the newest version of mobile, quit HIP, restarted iPad. Nothing is working. Just wondering if anyone else is having his issue. I can correct it by rotating the iPad, and then rotating it back, but that is really a pain. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Travis,
That was one of the fun bugs introduced in iOS 8. The public version we have now partially fixed this by making sure you're holding the iPad in the correct orientation before clicking the camera button. We have this fixed now in beta completely and hope to have it out soon. |

So what's the correct orientation? I normally hold it with the home button on my left. Should I try flipping it the other way? Or hold it vertically and then rotate? No expected date on the update?

The beta version works great but has a feature (video) that requires me to have the latest Mac/Windows version done before releasing to everyone. Most people take photos in landscape view as that's what will look better in the report.
