TOPIC: Taking pics with iPhone using Mobile

Taking pics with iPhone using Mobile 10 years 4 months ago #58375

I tried to search for help on this but did not find anything. I am using HIP mobile with an iPhone and I am having an issue. When I take the picture a box appears after it is taken (which is smaller that the original picture)and if I click the "use photo" option the picture gets cropped to only the smaller box. Is there a way to stop this or make the box larger? I wouldn't mind as much if the box was visible before I snapped the picture because most of the time the box crops off parts of the picture I need. I find myself taking multiple pictures of the same object to make sure that I get the cropped picture view I need. This is very time consuming. Any help would be much appreciated!

Get the latest update. Photos don't get cropped anymore. But when you say that it goes smaller, I am assuming that you mean in the list view? That's just what happens. If you go back to the home, there is a button above client info that is a summary, which you can scroll through and they are bigger there. Good for reviewing everything with the client at the end of the inspection.

Travis,

Thanks for the fast reply! It so happened that I did a search on the Nachi forum and saw that there was an update. I did the update and low and behold no more cropping!! LOL! I am off to my next inspection and I am looking forward to using the updated mobile! Oh I meant smaller picture overall once you accept the pic that you just took.
