TOPIC: Adding Pics from camers via blue tooth/SD card etc???

I use apple products and have been looking at the many options out there for cameras with wireless connectivity. How is it that one using an ipad and separate camera can be taking pics in the field and having them inserting into the report at the same time? can this be dome and if so whats the best way? I have heard of SD cards with built in wifi that make there own connection in any camera? blue tooth cameras? and cameras with GPS and wifi ???/ Anyone have any clarity for an on the edge old dude who just wants to keep up?
Also I am wondering if DOM can shed some light on the upgrades coming to HIP 4 that may effect the answers to my question?

You're thinking of the eye-fi card which will do this.

George I just purchased two adapters for the I-pad from Best buy that allows pic to be added to the I-pad straight from the camera with USB cord or insert the SD card into the adapter which plugs into the charging port on the I-Pad works slick no bluetooth or wifi required cost was $29 bucks
