Has anyone downloaded mobile HIP on the Samsung Galaxy 2 camera to perform there inspections and how good does it work?

Yup, quite a few use it. The device works well, but it's a little easier to break than most Android devices. Just make sure to find a good case for it and be very careful. A few of the guys have under arm gun holsters that they carry it in. That seems to work the best!

There are a few issues with it. Sometimes about half way through an inspection it will crash and needs to be restarted. It used to be a lot worse until I rooted the camera and took out a bunch of apps that were not needed. Now after I finish the outside I reboot before I go inside. It has to do with heat. I live in Florida and if the camera gets hot it acts up. I do not think it has to do with HIP. The other thing is "lists" do not work. I have tried to get Dominic to look into it but no luck yet. Last thing is if you are going to use the Wind Mitigation app it will not save inspector signatures or initials. Now after all of this. I would not do an inspection without it, seriously Even with a few issues I can't imagine doing inspections any other way. Everyone of my guys have one and we have a spare just in case.

I'm using a Samsung-SGH-I547, Android version 4.1.2 and when I take a picture inside a category the program crashes and re-boots. In settings I have save after each item "on"
Any suggestions? Also I'm using the HIP version that is on play store.

In your case I would make sure the image size is set to the smallest setting possible. Let me know if that helps.

Jere, as Mike mentioned, go to Settings on the camera app itself and drop the resolution.

Mike, the Wind Mit app was updated a month ago and your saving issue should be resolved. Make sure you update and test Lists again too with HIP mobile.
