TOPIC: Suggestions on how to make report writing faster?

Hi Dominic, I hope all is well!
Please excuse my ignorance when it comes to computer programming (I don't know if these things are possible or practical).
Things I think that would help improve HIP and make report writing faster.

1) One click selecting. Click once and the comment is added to the narrative.

2) A red section and black section so you don't have to choose the color. They would be preloaded in the red or black section, when clicked on they would be added to the appropriate section (red, black, blue...).

3) I am trying to think of a way to take out the redundant comments. When I only have one photo I make sure the comment ends up just above the pic (last comment selected). But when I have several photos for clarity I add captions from the drop down box. When this is done I have the comment under my photo, in the narrative and sometimes the summary also. Some comments are repeated three times and some show up only once.  When a caption for a photo is selected could it automatically be removed from the narrative (not the summary).

Again please excuse my lack of knowledge in computer programming. Is there a way for me to make some of these changes myself?

The one click selecting won't happen with HIP because it goes against flexibility. Right now there's times where you may want a comment to go into red (i.e. first time home buyers) but others where you don't (i.e. investors). If we made it single click you wouldn't have that option. Since you can select multiple comments before clicking red or black it takes less than 2 clicks to add the comment to the report. On selection panels you can add it to the report with a single click already obviously.

Check out the Caption feature to have general comments you use under the pics with the detailed above it. You can also select the comment from the drop down but then remove the recommendation portion. There's many times a caption isn't needed as the comment is directly above it as well and the connection is obvious.

An option to remove the comment from the section if it's exactly the same as the caption is a possibility. I'll need to give that one some thought.
