TOPIC: Mobile changes TEMPLATE COMMENT when brought back into desktop?

Does this happen to anyone else? When I edit a comment on the iPad, and upload the inspection back to the desktop, the comment is changed in my template. I use one template for all inspections so I know where all the comments are. I have lost variable lists, and whole comments in the template are completely customized to the last inspection because I edited something on the mobile and then import the inspection back to desktop. How do I protect my template from being changed by Mobile?
I have to "unedit" the edits so I can edit it to the next inspection... That's not what I want...
I run 3.9 on a mac and mobile on an iPad.

Don't save the template and the changes you make on mobile won't be permanent. Many guys want changes from mobile to be permanent but that's definitely up to you! Obviously make sure you still Save Inspection on the desktop.

I am constantly tweaking the one template I use, with things like deleting comments that don't work, or adding captions. However, doing that and working from mobile are mutually exclusive. I can't do one or the other.  If i want to edit the template, I'll have to make a note to do it after I'm done with this inspection. OK...

Kind of. If you're doing that on the desktop then you're okay. Doing a normal inspection on the desktop you can easily chose during the inspection what will/won't save to the template. So you could make the changes back on the desktop while working on the inspection. But on mobile in order to not over complicate things we don't have a way to designate individual changes on report vs template so it's up to you with the Save Template (all or nothing). Once I can come up with a clean (non cluttered) way to do this we can build in some more control.
