I don't use the merge feature much, but today I tried to...
I made a template labeled Out Building and merged it with my residential template. I placed all my pictures in there appropriate places but the merged (Out Building) section put all the pictures in every subset. Out Building Exterior Same pictures Roof Same pictures Electrical Same pictures The rest of the report ( my residential template) is just fine. Everything in Out Building - Exterior is the same as Out Building - Roof and Out Building - Electrical. Anyone else having the same issue. I am using HIP 3.8, don't know if this happens in other versions. |

MY spell checker didn't catch that... merged lol
Update.. I pulled all the pictures out of the Out Building section and worked them into my Residentual template, but the pictures stayed there and when I Generated the report ALL of the pictures for the report were in the merged section. |

It sounds like you might have merged the same report to itself.

I have been playing with it a little more
1. Opened HIP -> Out Building template 2. Did not enter any info, I just wanted the sections added save inspection 3. Closed HIP 4. Opened HIP -> residential template 5. Merged the saved out building inspection adds it as "Merged Inspection1" since it is not a duplicate 6. Load my pictures If I got to Merged Inspection1 every tab has all the pictures that are not selected for other sections. If I go back and move a picture to another section then it does not show up here. The pictures do not show up any of residential tabs unless I put them there. |
