TOPIC: Adding photos

Les my feeling is that you are asking a question in the wrong way.
Are you using photos for notes or some other method ?

Once you slot the photos off batch add you can use the built in thumb viewer as you type or use my old fashioned method of opening pictures as a PDF before adding comments and simply doing a split screen with the report comment boxes open and type in as you scroll down the PDF watching the photos in order as you go as they will be slotted in the same exact order as your process.

maybe ,,, but I will give a closer look a the adding method ... I have owned couple of other inspection software and have gotten use to certain ways ,,,

Just guessing here but my thought is you wish to only add pictures going in the report and feel dragging them one at a time is more efficient.

Am I correct ?

Bear in mind you can batch add and then simply use the slot drop downs in photo edit only on those going in the report ..but...the others will always be in the report file to get used if needed.
The storage size is not really effected.

Hey heres a cool trick to try.
Instead of clicking on a dropdown you can type the first letter of the category and it will go in the space (the double dropdowns) and then click tab to make the next dropdown appear where you can do the same by clicking a letter.

Example:
Photo
Interior...Doors

Click "I"....tab...."D"

If into the mobile thing HIP is great and fast.

I'm curious if I can add a JPG or Gif pic to my report that will be viewed large
not the lil pics we slot into categories?

I currently have a template I'm creating for wells and I need to use aerial \
view pics from Google earth to edit and note well casing and septic field
geography and distances.

I cannot do this with the small pics we slot in the report in any reasonable fashion.

I 'm thinking like a new document added to the report then assign it to the category
page , but docs are of course limited to txt type files only.

We really need a method to allow us to add jpgs to the template besides the usual
method.
