TOPIC: Recall Check

Recall Check 11 years 4 weeks ago #55214

All,

I have signed up with Recall Check. I have not submitted any inspections as of yet (enjoying a weekend off) but will most likely do my personal appliances first.
In the past I have included the following in my reports :
Manufacture Name =
  model #
  serial #
  year manufactured =

I do this for mechanical equipment and appliances. I like the look of it in the reports and they are always the first item in that particular section. I inform the client it is beneficial for them because they have them conveniently located if they need to reference the numbers in the future.

*My question - while using HIP to enter the numbers for Recall Check does the information I entered above (manufacture, model, serial, year) stay within the report when generated? Or when using the recall check tabs do they only go to Recall Check and "disappear" from the actual report? (Obviously hoping they stay. Two birds, one stone)

I watched the tutorial and thought I heard Dom state that they do stay but wasn't sure.

Also, please use this thread to share any Recall Check experiences, tips, do's and do nots, advice, etc.

Very much appreciated.

Dom, I have a wonderful idea :)

How about incorporating the RecallChek app into HIP mobile so you we don't have to leave the program to do our report or RecallCheks.

I've been looking at their new api for taking pics and it's definitely possible that something similar will be added down the line.
