TOPIC: Drop Down on ios7

The new version of HIP for ipad should have drop down menus, correct? It doesn't seem to be working on mine.

Can you post a screen shot of what it looks like? I just want to make sure that I am not missing something.

Yes, you need to click the icon that looks like a book when editing a comment with lists.

I am also using this feature on my ipad with ios 7.02 with unexpected results.  I see the little "book" icon and can select from the list at the bottom of my screen. When the inspection gets uploaded to the cloud, then downloaded to my Macbook for final editing, then generate the report, the comment looks like the following:
Observations:
� Apparent <<insect/moisture::insect>> damage
So the name of the list and the double arrows are showing up as well as the item I selected from the list (insect) in this case. It should look like this I'd guess..

Ah you need the latest beta to work with the lists. We've completed it for Windows (3.6.5) but not on Mac. We're working on programming around all the iOS bugs that our friends at Apple have introduced into their new OS. As soon as that's done we'll have a new iOS and Mac version to release. We're getting close and hope to have this within the week. Unfortunately Apple broke tens of thousands of Apps with their last updates and we've spent the last 2 weeks with sleepless nights trying to work around their issues.

We have 2 dozen guys beta testing the latest iOS version but I'm definitely not happy enough yet to release it to the public. Stay tuned!

I will certainly stay tuned and can wait a week.  I'm new to HIP and building my first template with lots of round-trip testing between my Macbook and my ipad as I learn both platforms. Thanks Dominic for the super fast response.

Thanks Philip and sorry about the issues. This is the first time that an Apple update has broken everything. Normally everything gets tons of testing before a release and the guys using the public versions have a smooth transition. We'll keep you updated!
