TOPIC: Tab names turning green....

I noticed immediately after trying HIP months ago that some of my tab names were turning green upon visiting them for the first time.  It took me a while to figure out that those are Inspection Items that don't have a Damage Panel in them (Selection Panel only).  Anybody know the purpose behind this?

If you're using Ratings then you'll have to check the rating for the damage panel to turn green. Selection panels turn green when you visit them. This is to help you keep track of what sections you've completed. HIP Mobile has this feature now too.

Ahhh, since I don't use ratings, it would have been a heckuva long time before I figured that one out.  Thanks, Dominic.

If you don't use ratings (and actually have them turned off) then all tabs should turn green once you click them.

If "turned off" means having the box unchecked, then ratings have been turned off for my template for quite some time.  Not sure how I managed to see certain visited tabs not turning green earlier, but it appears to be working fine now....
