TOPIC: too Slow: Spell Checker / Scrolling problems / Page down

I am taking too long to do these inspections reports.
first problem is with the spell checker, My old system I would just type away and do a spell checker at the end and it would do the whole report an I would fix the type-Os in one shoot.
Also I would see the word mis-spell and some times it gave me choices other times the "Copy / Paste" Screen would show up

2nd: The Scroll up and Down does't work every time. I would have check a line and it would light up that un-check it to use the Scroll up/ down

3rd: If I use my Mouse to roll up and down ( more than one screen of choices) the field would move to the right so I can't see the begining of the choices

Yes, I am having similar issues with mobile hip.  During every inspection so far my inspection has froze up after exiting the inspection and trying to open it back up.  I'm reaching a point where the scrolling doesn't work consistantly even after I have exited and come back in.  Trying to use mobile hip has really slowed me down. 

John, are you talking about the Android version or the Windows/Mac version? There is no Scroll Up/Down in the Windows/Mac version, only a Scroll Left/Right when browsing through comments. This is on purpose. After watching guys inspect in the field I quickly realized that scrolling vertically was extremely inefficient as inspectors would scroll past their comments then go up/down to find the problem. Scrolling horizontally shows you an entire set of comments at once which is much faster. Takes a little getting used to but once you do you'll see the difference (I've heard this from guys for 9 years now).

Gary, it sounds like you're using the old version. Let me email you the latest. Make sure to exit HIP Mobile half way through the inspection to free up memory by clicking back a few times and then go right back in.

Okay now I'm confused. You're using a mouse with your iPad? The spellcheck HIP Mobile uses is the one built into the device.
